South Korean film production company founded by prolific filmmaker Kim Tae-soo in 1966.
When Kim was elected to the National Assembly in 1983, Taechang Film Company was acquired by Itaewon and renamed Taeheung.
Kim later re-founded Taechang Entertainment Co., Ltd. in 1995 and changed the name to Taechang Entertainment in 2000.
