Self-styled ladies man Richard Ng gets depressed when all thosearound him are finding love while he remains single. Meanwhile, his blue jean shop is receiving some serious competition from the new ladies' clothing store across the street, run by a street-smart, fast-talking Sylvia Chang. It takes Richard half the movie to figure out that he and Sylvia were meant for each other, and the other half to resolve all sorts of complications. Without the always dependable Sylvia Chang (who often seems to get paired with unactractive men), this movie would drag much more than it already does. Lowell Lo sports some of the most hideous sideburns ever to appear on screen.
