  Uncle Gun runs a tombstone factory. Gun has two sons, elderly son Shan who adopted from his best friend who died when Shan was small and. younger son Choi who is his own son. Shan and Choi have a strong brotherhood, they bond to each other. Shan is a hard working guy who works in Gun's factory after graduated from secondary school. Choi is a rebel who doesn't like school. In order to educate Choi; Gun let Choi to study in Canada. Choi didn't achieve any academe in seven years and he didn't attend the graduate examination that he comes back to Hong Kong. Choi does nothing in Hong Kong, Gun arranges him to work in the factory in order to gain experience to inherit the business in the future. Choi just want to make quick money, and disagree the way Shan operate the business. But Uncle Gun is on Shan's side, and that makes Choi think Gun didn't trust him. Sing persuades Uncle Gun to invest in Mainland China, but Gun refused by the reason of lack of knowledge in China. Choi thinks that the factory cannot enlarge because Gun and Shan are too stubborn and conservative. He agrees Sing's investing plan in China. Sing cheats Choi in a gambling trap, Choi lose $500,000. Uncle Gun shocks and that simulates his lung disease. He was sent to hospital. Choi makes a counterfeit cheque to pay the debt. Shan tells Choi to go to the hospital at once. In the way he rushes to the hospital, he met his one nightstand girlfriend, Chui who blackmail Choi for the breakup money and he beat by Chui's gang. When Choi gets to the hospital, Uncle Gun died. Choi missed the last visit, he conscious of guilt. He custom makes a tombstone for his father and hope his father would realize his regret in heaven.
