Fong Hok Man is a real estate broker, he becomes a deficit asset victim of the bad economy. He lives together with her girlfriend Chu Lai Mei, she is his classmate at high school. In order to get over the hard days, they have to strictly control their daily expenses. In an old school gathering, they met one of their classmates Maria; she married to a wealthy husband. And met Sherman who is a movie assistance director, Allen a tourist guide, and Angel an insurance sales, they all bluff of their good life and their wonderful career, which makes Man and Mei wonder about their tough life they're struggling.
Actually, their classmates live are not as good as they mentioned. One day, Sherman is kicked out of home by his girlfriend, and he has no place to stay. So he wants to stay at Man's place, they accept Sherman as guest unwillingly. The other day Allen was jeer and kicked by his relative, he begged Man for shelter, and Man let him. The four of them live together in a poor life, but Man's income has drop substantially, he has no money for the mortgage and his apartment is sealed by the bank for auction. They have no place to stay, and they sneak into the empty apartment, which belongs to Man's client Mrs. Chan, he lies to her that her apartment is not sale yet. For living, they work as temporary actor for Sherman, and eat in Allen's tourist group, and cheat Angel for free dinner, they just struggle for living day by day.
One night, Mrs. Chan brings someone to shack in the house, she finds out someone is in the house, David the adulterer escape in a hurry. Mrs. Chan finds out they occupy her flat without permission and she is tired up by them. The situation turns immediately from breaking in to kidnapping. In order to get out of poverty they go to Mr. Chan for ransom... |
