The "whodunit" of "whodunit" films. Famous burglar Mackie is caught stealing a rare gemstone. But the gemstone is nowhere to be found. When Mackie escapes from jail, detectives Lui and Leung are sent out to find him and the gem...and the the chase is on. On the lam, Mackie seeks help from his former lover Pearl, but as with everybody, Pearl is not who she appears to be, and she is already on the hunt for the gem. Black Rose, accused by Mackie of possessing the gem, uses her feminine charms on detective Lui to throw him off her tracks. A mysterious woman, Lulu, appears to help Mackie in his search, but she has her ulterior motives and identity as well. As the pieces start to fall in place for all our protagonists, one questions remains: Who will end up with the gem?...and with each other? [Rim Films Catalog]
