Biography

Addy Sung (宋金來), born as 宋錦成 (and having 大小眼 as a stage name), was originally from Xinhui, Guangdong.

He was born into a Cantonese opera family. His father is a Cantonese opera actor and percussionist, his brother is the head of the Cantonese Opera Troupe (percussion leader), and his sister is a Cantonese opera singer. He studied with his father since childhood and is good at drumming. In 1964, he made a cameo appearance in "Homeless Children" as a child star. He also practiced martial arts, and eventually got into martial arts films, with a significant number of credits, both as an actor and director.

He eventually left acting and returned to the Cantonese opera troupe to be the percussion leader, which is still very active to this day.
