Known in H.K. as Do Do (pronounced "doo doo" in English).
After her graduation in Middle School, she is admitted in the Commercial TV artists training class, where she also debuted as TV actress in 1976 with "This Generation". After the bankrupt of the company, she joined TVB in 1978, where she became very popular the next year thanks to TV series "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Brothers" (1980) both with Chow Yun Fat. After several TV series more she debuted in movies in 1983 with "The Last Affair", and in 1988 she won the Golden Horse Award as Best Actress for "Moon, Star, Sun". After the success of the movie series "Heart to Hearts" (1988-90) and "Her Fatal Ways" (1990-94) and the Hong Kong Film Award for "Her Fatal Ways 3" she decided to go back to TV.
