Reviewed by: STSH Date: 11/01/2003 Summary: A ripper - one of the best Wow ! Slam-bang high quality fu action nearly non-stop. A excellent cast. Based on a novel (though I haven't heard of the author). You'll need to pay attention to follow all the twists and turns in the plot, where of course many of the characters are not who they first seem to be, though this story is less convoluted than your standard fu-confuser. A couple of the character revelations are a bit obvious, but this helps make the story a bit clearer. I'd never thought of Lo Lieh as much of an actor (as opposed to being a superb fu technician), but he manages to fill out at least a two-dimensional character here, and holds interest throughout. Don't miss this one. Well worth owning for any action fan. Reviewer Score: 10
